C & D Advertising Receives Two Telly Awards.

C & D Advertising’s “Learn Greek” Campaign for TV was recognized with a Silver and a Bronze Telly Award in the 42nd Annual Telly Awards. The Telly Awards honors excellence in video and television across all screens and is judged by leaders from video platforms, television, streaming networks, production companies and including Netflix, Dow Jones, Duplass Brothers Productions, Complex Networks, A&E Networks, Hearst Media, Nickelodeon, ESPN Films, RYOT, Partizan and Vimeo.

The “Learn Greek” commercials, created by the 25-year-old advertising agency, utilized a one-take concept in which the commercial was produced without conventional editing to include different scenes. Instead, the Award-winning commercials featured one “seamless take” from beginning to end.

The agency’s Multimedia Specialist, Cameron Sanborn said; “This project was unique because of the seamless, one-take approach that took extra planning and challenging execution. Additionally, for realism we had to populate the room in the restaurant with a number of extras and that was an interesting process.” “We are honored to have our work be recognized with these Telly Awards.”

“In the face of a year like no other, C & D Advertising has continued to defy the limitations of our new world, in continuing to create compelling and engaging work”, says Telly Awards Executive Director Sabrina Dridje. “This year’s submissions doubled down on what we already know about the industry. Creativity cannot be stopped. Collaboration will always prevail.New ideas and stories will always find a way to break through to an audience.”

Last year, The Telly Awards attracted more than 12,000 entries from top video content producers including Adobe, Adult Swim, the BBC, Condé Nast, J. Paul Getty Museum, PBS, Playstation, RadicalMedia, T Brand Studio, Ogilvy & Mather and The Walt Disney Company.
